Anyone ever use that windshield repair kit they sell at the auto parts stores for chips in the glass? I've had a bullseye chip in mine for over a year, hasn't gotten bigger but don't want to push my luck anymore.
It's the kit with the gel and syringe that you fill the chip with, curious if it's a waste of 12 bucks or not

yes bro, I work in a hot area and have wanted to kill myself in the heat. To jump back I always look at it like this; it’s nice to replace parts and not worry about that part or system anymore

OSC makes it, they offer their own as well which is a Spectra. Both are probably fine. The OSC just didn't have the auto trans deals. Denso is really the only replacement rad that has dissatisfied me. My green truck had a TYC that was great and only $75

Can't quite tell if the axle is covered in dirt and mud or not? If it's not green or blue than I believe it's likely not OEM. I can't tell if the CV joint part of the axle on the right is that tri lobe oem style? Or just plain round cylinder style, indicating Chinese?

What do you do when your whole family looks down on you? Give them a big ole :brianr: It’s so fucking aggravating when they all fine and good until you bring up an idea. If one more motherfucka says I’m stupid about loving cars I could just choke em

Sorry just had to vent for a second. Guess that’s why I’m more of an introvert

Oh I thought the OSC referred to the line of product from Napa. Didn't realize was the maker, gotcha

Nah they're just another random manufacturer of radiators. They all seem to be from one or two actual factories though. The OSC looks exactly the same as my TYC and has the same parts number

I cleaned it more and got some scotchbrite to get the gasket surfaces all minty. Was getting that alternator ready to put in.
