Na, put the interior trim all back in the cab for now. Going to order the carpet and get the interior back together so i can keep it out of the bed of the truck. Im trying to clean up the garage to work on the Taco

Dan - what's the typical warranty period (or is there even such a thing) for work done at the serv dept? Axle seal for instance. I have to dig out my paperwork, just curious if you knew what the general take was on repairs.

when you had your axle seal done, did you do wheel bearings? if not the new design seal sometimes doesnt hit the retainer 100% and eventually leaks... because the old design seal was flat, new is tapered.

good to know. Going to get it on stands tomorrow and pull the tires. Probably the dakars as well. Need to figure out WTF is clunking so bad. Something is wonky on the rear passenger side. Checked quite a bit but haven't found anything yet.

Oh well, going to bed. have a good one all.

Red truck is alive. New upper and lower ball joints, steering rack and sway bar bushings, lower control arm bushings, upper control arm bushings, 100K mile stock leaf springs with some extra leafs to support the flatbed, rear bump stops, linear clutch pedal spring, new front dif, and a ton of other things I can't remember.

Other than the terrible alignment it drives great. I can actually shift gears without the blown diff binding things up on corners. The clutch pedal situation is so much smoother without the broken progressive spring. I'm thinking about doing a driveway alignment tomorrow but my attempts in the past have been bad.
