Yeah so my hood was damaged from a brick tossed over a soundwall as I was passing by doing like 35 or so. fing kids i'm sure but it hit the bug guard and somehow bounced up over or to the side. I'm positive it would've planted in the windshield if that bug guard hadn't been there. Anyway, was a bit suspicious of the hood being aftermarket since there is no VIN sticker on it anywhere I can see. I believe the vac label is out of placement. You tell me, labels (or anything else) look suspect?

Just looked at some pics on my phone -

You'll see stickers on each side of the hood.

I really don't need another car, but I think I'm going to buy one for a family member. Found a 74 Datsun B210 Fastback, less than a grand. Complete... I think it just needs a Honda K motor to make it reliable and safer than trying to navigate a modern road with a 1.2L carb engine. It was my moms first car, same year and body style. I think it would make a great mothers day gift.

Late 80's Carrera and Turbo I think are around 4.8sec, I think the cabriolet are like 5.5? But I have no idea how high that climbs after you safari them. I also wouldn't care haha. That one above is the Willy Safari build, thing looks fun as shit. I remember reading that they actually reshaped the original body to fit 31s. And its got a 3.4 in it for 340hp and regearing etc so its definitely quick.
It's also $375K, so I'll never have to worry about driving one haha.

I had the same mentality and then went out and got a GX470. Oh well, having the 2UZ in the fleet is nice.

Is it possible to fit 315/75r16 tires with a 3in lift? What is the stock measurement from the ground to fender or hub to fender? Thanks

VIN tag should be under the rock/bug guard thing. That's where it was located on my 4Runner at least.

    thread's quiet today.
Guess ill use this opportunity to ask, how can I remove headlight fillers on my truck? My passenger side filler had the outer clip break when I changed my headlights.
The inner clip works and that's why it hasn't flown off on the highway, but I want to try and zip tie the outer clip in place. Haven't checked, but is it possible to zip tie the outer clip without removing the entire assembly?
