10.8 for 80 series on stock baby tires, with a bonus of 34 degree side angle before tipping over

Most folks don't usually wheel anything with an 8-foot bed because of the breakover angle being kind of rough

22.9 degrees.... or 24. Depends on what model. The double cab is 22.9. 24 on reg and access cab.
Meh. I don’t plan on wheeling hard in it. But it can do it.

Watching a timing belt guide for the 2UZ-FE. So my to do list is quite long now. I'll be very busy this summer :bananadead:
Right now the Tundra is having it's passenger airbag replaced under recall. @Empty_Lord Apparently humidity is a major factor and my truck lived it's entire life in New Orleans.

    • Valve cover/Cam Plugs/Half moons/clean throttle body/new injectors - 04 Taco
    • Replace transfer case with a newly sealed low mile one - 04 Taco
    • Paint and install <100K stock 4WD rear driveshaft - 04 Taco (removing the crappy shortened one)
    • Brake job - Elderly neighbor's 07 Rav4
    • Timing belt - 03 Tundra
    • valve cover seals and spark plugs - 03 Tundra (this one is easier than I originally thought)
    • Body mounts - 99 Taco
    • Weld front bumper - 99 Taco
    • Weld rear bumper - 04 Taco

Tundra valve covers are easy. your lucky on the cam seals. Non vvti can be done easily. The vvti motor like mine, I had to pull the cams and disassemble to do the seals.

Hmm. Apparently the tundras stock approache angle since I have the steel front bumper is 29 degrees. 24 departure. 24 break over... it’s not that bad really now is it.

    I have mods
Just ordered one of those fly by wire throttle pedal modifier gadgets for the 4runner. Hopefully it does as stated and eliminates the lagy throttle.

Also waiting on a response from an ebay seller about the plastic intake, fuel rails and throttle body. Said he had the fuel rails and intake from a 2006 4runner but not the TB. Same seller has a 2005 Tundra so I asked if he had the TB from that still. If not, I know which one I need at least. Then I just need to order the 12 hole injectors from Dirty Deeds. Oh, I need to get a set of valve covers too. Clean and paint them before swapping when I do the timing belt and intake stuff.

I was just out in the garage figuring out how I’m going to carpet the cap. And I’m thinking about making some aluminum trays to make use of the wasted space where the topper is on the bed.. nice ledge, bend some aluminum to use it to older tie downs and small stuff and keep it off the bed
