I run Bilstein 5100s in the back and love them. I wheel as often as I can and I never find my rear wheel losing ground.

Today even, we took the dirt trails pretty damn fast and those washboards were soaked up pretty damn easily even with my extra weight.

I HAD an outside venting hood in my house. Here all I have is the pointless microwave air recycler fan thing. And yeah that was a big help. Mandatorio :D

I'll look at those too. My immediate, knee jerk "want" was to have Fox, reservoir, adjustables all around but I am (and will probably have to be) flexible. I have time for further research as I was going to get the King kit for $2k but when that was out of stock and the guy at Wheeler's said the rears didn't offer a lot of travel I decided to spend more $, on just the front for now and do the rears next

To really get the most out of your rear suspension you need to relocate your shock mounts.

If you aren’t gonna do that I wouldn’t mess with the big money things like kings, Fox, etc. Just go Billy’s or ome

See I thought the same way; you want a good shock in the rear? Do a shock relocation and go with either a 10" or 12" shock.

I'll never understand why people pay big bucks for cast iron when the best cast iron is at flea markets and yard sales. Rusty is so cheap and not too hard to clean and re-season. I guess some have more Dollars then sense.:D

OME is on there now. When looking into better rear bump stops and a u-bolt flip I see mention of shock mount relocation so I will look more into that then

You'll find out soon enough, if you offroad, that your shocks will be your limiting factor.

The Dakar leaf pack likes to flex, more than what the 8" shocks will allow.

Can't wait to go custom Alcans in the future...
