Damn, why the expensive oil if you don't mind me asking. I run Valvoline MaxLife (half synth, although I find putting synth to be an expensive joke in these old motors) in the Taco cause it's old and it gets changed regularly anyway. And I run Chevron Supreme Dino 10W-30 (it's a known large company and I can buy in bulk since the damn thing takes 8 quarts) in the cruiser. I just buy a nice Wix or OEM filter and call it good. Taco is at 265K and the Cruiser is at 186K both come out plenty clean.

I mean I could see using it in an engine that is tough on oil like Nissan's VQ35DE or VG30DETT but these Toyota engines don't shear down oil much, they run relatively cool, the tolerances are tight but not high performance car tight (neither of the engines even make 200hp haha). Just seems like with a normal OCI you don't need to pour your money right down the oil fill hole.

Hence why I'm changing. Its definitely not worth it.

Ordered off the website. Ran maybe 3 oil changes with it. Back to Mobil1 which I ran before the amsoil. Don't forget I'm in canada. Everything is more expensive. And that 120 is CAD not USD

Tie a string to your truck then run it inside then attach it to a bell. When truck come a rocking from the Thieves then dog-o go woof woof and scare Gay area truck bandit away.
