i can literally joggle it around that much while in gear and when you hit bumps it slaps back and forth. The linkage on the transmission is tight its just loose at the shifter.

Stock or aftermarket? Stock uppers have no adjustment. Some aftermarket ones do.

Camber isnt the reason though, that just means they didn't get an alignment. Castor and additional travel is why you get uppers

Could be a number of reasons, I'm not familiar enough with Tundras to really say anything about them. On out trucks, the after market UCA is more for correcting caster than camber. Maybe they are pushing the bottom out to clear tires better? Or just don't know how to do an alignment?

Suggests a MAF issue, the other guy with me in his 99 Tacoma didn't have any CEL issues so I'm inclined to believe the MAF is actually going bad.

Looks like I'm gonna have to deal with these squeaky leaf springs this fall. Only getting 2 weeks of silence from each application of spray grease. Looks like greasable shackles, greasable main eye bushings and a roll of this stuff https://www.speedwaymotors.com/Leaf-Spring-Liner-with-Lip-2-1-4-Inch,39823.html "should" take care of it. Don't really wanna have to do it, but it also gives me an excuse to install some 3 degree axle shims. Hopefully doing so will take care of a mysterious knocking sound /vibration I get when I barely feather the gas at any speed. Only started after I lifted the truck so the only thing I can think of is pinion angle.
