Ive got two park avenue 4 note sets I need to sell. I'll offer them to you for the low price of $170 each. Per your site, you'd still make a profit. Cant go wrong.

Shooooot man, the model name of the transmission eludes me. Maybe Speedytech7 will remember. But yeah if I remember right it was used in smaller busses that Toyota also built around that same time. Just kind of a testament to how overbuilt Land Cruisers are in some areas/components(if you ask me, it's overbuilt in MOST of them, not just some :D)

They come with spacers. The ones he sent are a wee bit too thick. So I used a socket. So it’s a little bit too far out, but I’ll turn the spacers down and get him measurements to open another sellable mount for him

A442F and the 91-92 had the A440F which was all hydraulic. The A442F also known to Mitsubishi; Hino (big truck Toyota), and a few others as the AW450-43LE, is a super heavy duty automatic transmission. It features electronic timed shifts, 4 gears, oversized torque converter, oversized clutch packs and 1/2nd gear bands, straight cut 1st gear (loud but strong), and many other things I'm forgetting. Despite only being in the US LC for 2 years it was in every diesel version of the 80 and 105 cruiser as well as various 70 series, the mega cruiser, a few light passenger busses, all manner of Mitsubishi and Isuzu heavy trucks... It's the only reason I considered an auto LC. It's build is entirely different from the later A340 derived A343 that was in the later 80 and 100 and it has about 175lbs of weight difference to prove it. It's one of the few Toyota transmissions to come with its own independent trans controller computer too.
