Man take care of that spine. Can cause excruciating pain. I use Alleve and a pocket TENS shock pads daily from Jackass style stunts of my younger years. A lot of dirt biking and cycling.

I'm not a graphic designer but I think you'd want to convert it into a vector file ideally in a program like Illustrator.

Sitting on my workbench so I can take it in monday to be recoated. My powdercoater gave me a $120 quote, so the tire shop gave me that much off a matching size spare tire since I'll be needing it for a few weeks. I was planning on letting the tire shop go through the process all the way and make it right, but yesterday while I was checking out the manager tells me again how its not his fault and its because the wheel was improperly coated that it chipped so easily. So at this point I'll just pay another shop to remount the tire when its done being coated so I dont have to go back to that Firestone shop again.

Poorly maintenanced equipment is why it chipped. They probably haven’t replaced the plastic pads on the duckbill.

The people that shop at my local Specialized dealer are the type that get their spandex in a wad if you ride on a trail thats slightly damp. Guess snobby sales men attract snobby customers. When I had my craigslist Cannondale I brought it to that dealer for some maintenance, the manager told me they wouldn't touch it and to get a real bike, after I had to pay him to even look at it. I took it to REI and they had it good as new in a few days.

When I was in the market for a new hardtail I searched far and wide for a shop with great staff. I wouldve went with REI but they just didnt have anything that I loved. The guy at Trek gave me a quote over the phone, then acted like he never said it when I came in a bit later. Then I found a Kona/Santa Cruz dealer about 30 miles away that was just awesome. Gave me a discounted cash price over the phone and the next morning I had my bike. And free service for as long as I own it.

Yup. I have friends that have changed tires for years and they gave me the same exact answer. I couldve went ballistic on the guy when he said that but I just paid the difference on the tire and left for the sake of being done with him. Some people just arent even worth getting mad about.

The first few rides make you feel like your on deaths doorstep, but once you get an endurance built up its a blast. Im currently getting back in it after not riding much this winter, hard to get motivated right now since I want to die after 1.5 miles lol.

Kona was the only company that could get me a Shimano Deore or better 1x10 drivetrain, 27.5" tires and an air suspension fork for under $1k. Cannondale made one similar for around $1100 that I liked, but that company loves only offering 29" tires for some reason and I felt weird riding it so it was a no go.

Don't knock my North Star Bike Park. I'd rather enjoy 30 down hill descends without wearing out/loosing time trying to get up it. Usually big hill climbs are enjoyable a couple times a day then you're spent.

Hmm. I should also mention, my girlfriend will not ride bikes. Shes fearless in many ways. Hell she jumped out of a plane.

But I can’t get her on anything with 2 wheels
