I have to go file for unemployment. I worked in the tourism industry, and we were the first to go.

My second job was I was a stage manager for a local production, what sucks is that it looks like the show we're doing is going to be cancelled. It's in limbo now.

I was trying to fix the Mercedes, but my damn QuickJacks are 1" from touching the lift points. This stupid lift hasn't worked for a single car I own, including the Nissan. I'm going to sell it when all this blows over.

You can't beat a normal two post lift. There is simply no alternative.

 

I'll be okay. I have over 6 months of pay in an emergency fund. My wife is also still working and she makes enough to cover the mortgage and basics. My new job is for a school district so it wont be too long before were back in school.

 

That sux a very large one indeed.

We're on lockdown too buddy. 6.7 Million people, I think it's seven counties including San Francisco, Alameda, and Contra Costa.

I think there's an evolutionary reason for babies being cute, if they weren't it would be a lot harder to deal with lol

That sucks dude. My wife just found out tonight that they're mandating all fitness studios in LA County close down too. So she's stressed to the max. Trying to figure out how to keep her employees around and happy for when things start up again.
The weird thing is, the actual cities her studios are in have both told her that they "aren't sure" if she really needs to close or not... Since it was the mayor of LA that mandated it and not the actual mayor's of those cities it seems it falls in a grey area

She's going to stay open until the actual cities that her permits are in tell her to close, which I imagine will be tomorrow when it all gets sorted out. But this is one big clusterfuck I tell ya

 

The San Francisco Bay Area is on lockdown. The only people allowed outside are "essential personnel" and to go to the grocery or to the pharmacy. All gatherings over 10 people are banned. Three weeks of shelter in place.
