    Reserected from the dead.
Have you checked to see if horn, cruise control are still functional?

If you spun the steering wheel you roached the CS.

Huh? I'm not to keen on these new fangled machines. I only bought an inverter because of my college kid budget. Id take a transformer based unit any day of the week over Chinese inverter, which as I found out Hobart inverters are now China made, which means the miller thunderbolt is too, since they are identical machines.

I’d check Your Ubj for sure, jack up the tire, grab the top and push/pull.

Your UCA could even be wallowed out, making it so they can get your alignment on in the shop but as soon as you hit a bump the UBJ moves around.

    I dunno just thinking.

Yeah, pissed me off when I couldnt find "made in usa" on the box of my new stickmate. Hobart has always been real patriotic in the past, kinda made me upset to be honest. At least its an American company with Americans on the other end of their support calls, and they should be around for many years to come. Unlike certain Chinese companies "cough, cough" Longevity and their shoddy customer service.

Nah, theyre owned by the largest manufacturers of welders in the world. Quality may go down, but the fact that their owned by Miller wont change. Their mig machines are all repbadged Millermatics. If their smart, it will stay that way as that is what sells best.

I thought there is supposed to be zero play at 12 n 6 thats how you find bad wheel bearings or LBJ. I think @JKO1998 is on the right track. Maybe your spindle is bent, but then the alignment shop would have noticed that. Jack it up n put a pribar in there n see if you have play. Worth a shot.

My UBJ moves a bit when I do it, it’s bad.

I guess it depends on how much his wheel goes in.

They are both under the same parent company, Illinois tool works. Hobart is marketed as entry level versions of the miller machines. Hobart Ironman 210 is a millermatic 252 without autoset, Hobart stickmate=miller thunderbolt etc... Used to be and still is for the most part, both machines were/are made on the same lines in Kenosha, Wisconsin, Hobart only used cheaper components internally.

A tie rod woulnt make your tire do that though.

Maybe some of your control arm bushings are wore out.
