It didn't do a very good job. Nobody calls it the I force besides the chrome badge stuck to the back that half the Bros remove anyway. People still refer to Toyota motors by their engine designation. 2UZ-FE

now its the 3ur-fe, 1ur-fe, and the 3ur-fbe

 

its such a wonderfully smooth engine. toyota makes good damn v8s

Oh that's neat. It's a great feature for anybody that's going to tune it one day or add boost. But anyone that still thinks ethanol is going to catch on for the everyday driver has had a mid Westerner jamming their sphincter full of corn

 

i do belive E85 has been dropped for the 20 models. the extra toll it took on oil meant 5k oil changes... at 95 a pop.. people get tired of that fast.

 

Enthusiasts know engine codes, nothing new there. Salesman know the corny name given to the engine or the displacement if it doesn't have one. That's how the world has been since forever.

 

I must not be a Toyota enthusiast then as i just call them by their displacement.
