I don't ever think to look for one, but if I was a thief check out a confirmed old man truck first place I'd check is the rear bumper haha

Its on the list of things to look into doing/buying once I get a career going in a few months.

Id love to have a place to easily store it and be able to put it back on from time to time.

My dad used to always put one up in the wheel well, looking back I'm surprised we never got the car stolen. Everyone knows you always check the wheel well first for hidden keys or GPS trackers

Can't find a magnetic hide-a-key on rear bumper if the bumper is aluminum ;)

I love mine cause I can keep my bike out of sight/locked up and dry, but not being able to haul large things is gonna prove to be a pita when I hopefully move out later this year. And my truck lacks a towing package or a DOT certified hitch so looks like I'll be borrowing my dads truck for a bit when the time comes.

I keep my wheeling key in the center console. Truck won't start if the alarm isn't disengaged so even if someone broke in and found the key they wouldn't get anywhere with it

Well guys... I have to make a decision. Do I do the core support, lower body mount support, hood, 95-97 frond end (might as well since both my 98-00 headlights have fully cracked mounting brackets), and a crappy rattle can job? Or do I just run it as is plus a NWTI front bumper? If I leave it I have a feeling when the core support fails I'll be stranded if it threw the radiator at the fan.

I'm doing body mounts on the truck to straighten things out on the frame. This bent up core support has been holding me back from even starting. Notice the crappy weld job the previous owner attempted. I can't even fix this front body mount because the whole lower body mount support is destroyed on the passenger side. The only other damaged mount is the one below the passenger floorboard.

That's true I suppose, but why would a bumper be made out aluminum, that's just silly. Kids these days :p

if your going to do a core support just go all out and do the whole apron.. chances are putting just the core support on wont line up properly.
