Didn't even think of seat covers. Any brands you recommend that don't cost an arm and a leg?

If you’re a Costco member, CoverKing. Runs about $150 and they fit like Wet Okoles for a fraction of the cost.

I just have something from Walmart or something, really generic stuff that’s getting pretty worn.

I’d look into what Barto said if you or someone you know is a member.

Thanks, those look pretty nice. Definitely gonna take those into consideration.

Yeah I have cheap ones from AutoZone on my truck. They've held up pretty well, but they only make them in gray and my Dad's truck has a tan interior.

Weather tech floor mats are nice. New head unit maybe. Wet okole seat covers if he lives in a normal climate

What’s considered normal? Anywhere that’s not 100° alll the time?

Neoprene doesn't breath so yeah if you don't worry about swamp ass it's a normal climate. Sheepskin covers are next for my Land cruiser haha

I was debating between the Weather tech and Husky liners. I have the Huskys in my truck, curious if the Weather techs are any better.

His truck does still have the factory head unit hmmmm...

It doesn't get above 95 degrees here, so breathability won't really be an issue. The real issue is that I'll have to sell a kidney to afford the Wet Okoles haha

I don’t have any covers over my seats atm, took em off when I took the everything out and haven’t put them back. Kinda like not having them for some reason.

I have husky liners, they're nice, I just didn't know if they made the ones for the rear too on a double cab

I’d like to try weather techs also, or Atleast compare. my huskys drain all the water onto my carpet anyway. Better than nothing though.

Really? Mine seem to hold water well. The only issue I have is they slide up and down in the foot well a little more than I'd like

My door seal/ plastic thing at the bottom of the cab is always soaked during the winter.

But I spend an abnormal amount of time out and about during the winter getting snowy so I don’t help it

I just finished changing out the Power Steering Pump on my buddy’s 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the ancient 4.0l Inline 6. Steering was trash and all the fluid sprayed all over the engine bay.

    04C72EDD-7C72-4F6E-895D-22C1CFE2792E.jpg

After consulting AllData, changing the high pressure and low pressure lines would cost $95 and $26 respectively from the dealer. The Power Steering pump would be $450 for a dealer rebuilt one. AllData says it will take 3 hours of labor.

Total cost spent from RockAuto and WalMart for the pump, lines, and two bottles of Power Steering Fluid was $140 and a day and half of my time. The RockAuto pump was even remanufactured for GM according to the certificate.

Crazy how much money you save doing repairs yourself.

Changing the pulley is a pain in the absolute ass. There’s no way in hell you’re doing it without a really decent air impact gun. I actually messed up the first day and did not push the pulley onto the shaft far enough, so I had to come back today and re-do it. As soon as you’d start the engine, the belt would slide off. Don’t get me started on the stupid belt tensioner mechanism built into the pump.

Steering was dramatically different with the new pump. My buddy who drives it was shocked how well it steered. Shit it steers easier than my truck.

    New Pump & Lines Installed

Oh and yes, this thing likes to leak.

These are fun little trucks. Solid Dana axles, and AWD w/ 4LO on the Grand Cherokee. When this thing shits the bed I’m totally buying it and putting my E320 body on it.

Those ZJ Grand Cherokees are terrible vehicles through and through. Had two friends with them, id wish them upon no one.
