My city "technically" has that law as well, however we have a ghetto side of town, so they are generally preoccupied with that.

I recommend everyone live in a nice suburban town with just enough drug dealing and murders (one low level gang shooting a year) in a small area so the cops and officials know what actual crime is. Me driving with a plate light out, or going 5mph over, or my grass being 4" long is not an actual crime compared to what they have to occasionally deal with.

Pretty much. Saying that I try to keep my shit halfway nice and shut the grinders down at 10pm to not be a dick, and I dont have an HOA and I dont want to be the cause of starting one LOL!!

 

ive had the cops called on me so many fucking times it aint funny.


the worst part is its my damn neighbors that are the issue but they assume its me because i have all the cars outside!

i actually had them here yesterday because apparently i was throwing a party..

and ofcourse cop shows up and realizes that its just my driveway full of my cars..

loud car drives by at night? must be me. ETC

 

Wow that sucks!! That also goes back to my Karen comment, who cares if you even were throwing a party (table the coronavirus debate, had one already tonight and I'm pretty sure I have lost 3 friends because #logicdoesntmatter)?!?! My neighborhood is nice and quiet, but blue collar, upper blue collar, probably a couple illegals tossed in there or lower white collar(us) I would say, so people generally stay out of each others crap. We do have some d bags like evrey hood, but luckly they arent near me LOL!! Not too many people wrenching on stuff near me which kind of sucks, I'm probably the biggest grease monkey in the area. We have some boomers with harleys but they dont count. I need someone trying to drop a big block in a gremlin or something nutty like that, not polishing their chrome factory installed accessories.

 

yea. the sad thing is the guy who keeps calling I literally am the nicest person to him. i fix his shit whenever he needs help. im not a dick. but clearly he thinks im the loud one.


meanwhile ive got neighbors 2 houses down throwing LOUD parties damn near every night and selling drugs at the house.. yea im the one that clearly the issue here.. i keep my garage closed when im working on anything so its not like you can hear me in there. and my cars arent that loud. nor do i rev the shit out of them or hammer it on the road in the neighborhood.
