    That's almost its own ecosystem. You just run the 617 off the waste oil from the oil changes on the Toyotas

    The MZ engines are weird. Their layout looks almost more like a 90-degree V6

    I've been admiring cylinder support systems. They seem to be one of the only companies making deck closing kits that are actually machine properly and press-fit to a tolerance that won't budge under the force of the head

    They don’t make sleeves for the 2gr. I was just going to darton sleeve it unless monkey wrench will work a sea for my core and sending me a open deck block. I don’t plan on boosting

    Pretty much the last year would be 2017 before all the nannies are fully implemented in the Tacoma.
    But you can't disable the curtain airbags in the 3g which is odd.

    @Empty_Lord @cruiserguy @Speedytech7

    Do you guys have any preference for EBC, StopTech, or any particular type of drilled slotted rotors for a heavy vehicle like a Cruiser or Tundra?

    If I keep the original 21 yo LX rotors, I will need to get them turned to smooth out a couple of grooves. Though the brakes were smooth, I don't think the rotors have ever been turned. They didn't pass the fingernail test. O'Reilly does a good job with turning rotors and drums. I'm just weighing decisions at this point about rotors.

    I usually like to keep brake parts with a products that I can easily get locally in the event I need to do an exchange or run into problems during warranty. So I would be venturing out of my parts comfort zone with drilled/slotted rotors.

    Looks like this guy is using some type of coated EBC rotors.

    Side note that the previous owner really did install new National wheel bearings and seals like he stated. The bearings and seals are good. No complaints.

    Somehow I just knew that was going to happen. Trucks moving to V6 TT versions shared with the luxury sports car line.
