Gotta have that good handling. I have to replace the valve cover gasket ASAP which the part is just sitting here along with new plugs. The tube seals are leaking onto the plugs causing a skip and other than that nothing is wrong with the truck other than I’m thinking about doing an exhaust. (Knock on wood nothing else’s is wrong). Any suggestions on exhaust for the 2.4?

    So I shouldn’t do a pacesetter header?

Im not being serious, i dint have a 2.4/2.7 i havnt researched any performance mods thus have nothing to say other than the freer it flows the happier it will be

They seem to be a ehh company but how bad can they fuck up a 4 banger manifold that has plenty of room for routing

I’ve thought about just removing the muffler to see what it sounds like. Don’t want to do anything to the cat really. I thought by removing the muffler and changing the header would make it sound better :notsure:

run a header first. honestly ive never been the fan of loud exhausts on a 4 cylinder truck. if you want a wee bit more power, get a header and install it.. see how it sounds with the stock muffler (it will change the tone a little)

Thrush Turbo muffler and the 01-04 mini header. Affordable, good sound, good quality.

On my 2.7 I had the LCE header (complete waste of money but good quality) and a Flowmaster 40. It sounded good for a 4 banger.

3" angle coming straight off the frame works nicely.
