Your truck is one of the few examples convincing me to go with a camper.

I like the versatility of being able to go from this:

Wrapped up a fence/gate job for a customer today. She wanted vinyl, it's lighter and is very easy to maintain. So lighter was also good for me as well, being the builder of it right? Possibly. Left post for the double side opening gate is on cement path/walkway. Digging down for the post on right side and I find a block of concrete like 16" or so from surface..... MFer. Keep digging and I find that concrete is actually the footing for a cinder block fence that this vinyl gate will be part of. I can tell I'm gonna have to get a lil bit more creative(and expensive) to build this thing to her expectations.
Long story short, anchored post on left into cement walk with that plate thingy, no jackhammer ing needed , and anchored post on right into the concrete footing with same adapter plate thing as other side. And then tied the post into the block wall/fence. This thing is sturdy af, even I was surprised how sturdy it turned out. Customer is super happy with how it looks:)rolleyes:female, of course the look of fence is most important thing to her:rolleyes:) BUT I'm happy with how overbuilt it ended up

I've done a mod or two
It's never been windy in my RTT :notsure:

It's worth noting that to avoid wind you have to actually close the flaps, they don't put that in the instructions.... Cause you should already know that

A guy in our group when we ran Mojave Road a few years ago had his RTT fold up on him when he was in it because the wind was so strong, was pretty funny. Gotta anchor the half that folds out to the bumper

If the wind is bad enough it can be an issue trying to sleep in the RTT or any tent for that matter, not cause the wind gets inside but because of the noise.
