That happened to my neighbor's Sequoia right before we moved in...freaked me out when he told me that. My belly pan covers them now though so I don't really worry about it.

I can jump a starter no problem. From under a truck no one would see me..

On both my Toyotas, that's my fear. I've priced the cats on my sequioa, 1400.00 for 1.

Damn. Well I'm banking on most thieves not being that resourceful lol. Then again if someone really wants your ride they're going to find a way to get it.

I'd be a hell of a car thief . I can unlock them fast and bypass most alarms. He'll, put on a old uniform and no one would look twice at me..lol

Yup. I had to get both replaced on my Tacoma last year and Toyota wanted north of $3k for both. Got a set of CARB approved Magnaflows for $600 installed instead. Doubt they last long but if I get a few years out of them I'll be happy.

It's like anything else, build a better alarm and they build a better thief. Just do what you can, and pay your insurance on time.

Y'all must live in a ghetto if you gotta theft prevent your cats. People can't seem to get rid of them fast enough out east. Oh how I love not being smoged.

We all need something like this... Especially if you have that stinkbug thing going on... ;)
It won't stop someone determined but I bet the added noise and time to grab it, yeah - its going to do the job.

Cat armor makes one. Just a lil over 100 bucks. Might be worth it if you park at Bart. They hit the parking lots hard..

Most guys with newer trucks out here gut them. If your rig is over 20 years old you dont even need to pass an emissions test at all. All you legally need is a muffler.

Yep...nice areas expect it less and the thieves are less afraid of being confronted or shot in nice areas. Not too mention nicer vehicles. Just have to go in under cover of dark.

All you need is a cordless sawzall and 1 minute. Fast 50-80 bucks for 1 minute of work. Until you get caught..

Can’t you use one of those ratcheting exhaust cutters? It’s nearly silently.
