To clarify , is it feasible and if so how would I go about swapping the odometer from my 2002 regular cab without a tach?

    From this cluster:

To the white face gauge cluster with a tach below?

Thanks for any help you can lend!

@Running Board Man is slightly incorrect.

95-97 tacomas wont take the new (98-04) Clusters

my 03 had a roll type odometer, I swapped to a black cluster from I think an 01 and it worked fine, tac is plug and play as long as you swap correctly.

Your 02 will take 98 and upwards until 04. You cannot go from v6 to I4, you need to stick with the right amount of cylinders, if not its plug and play.
Again, v6 clusters will NOT work.

For instance, this would work in your tacoma.

its from a 4cyl and its not 95-97.

They can be reprogrammed to your mileage.

We have a major house gutting and remodel job going on in my neighborhood. I kept hearing the familiar rumble of a Nissan V8 outside this week so I had to go check it out. Most Titans around here always seem to be pulling an equipment or lawn service trailer of some type.

I think this is one of the reasons its almost impossible to used Titan that doesn't have high miles and had the piss beaten out of it. These guys drive them into the dirt.

Yeah, seemed like it was for diehard fans. For similar prices you could get a heavier duty dodge cummins, powerstroke, duramax...

I've seen them. Its amazing how they get so much out of those V6 engines.

A long time ago GMC had a family of torque monster V6 engines that would out pull a V8. They were too thirsty and dirty to make it out of the 60s.

I'm finding the complaint with 555 ball joints is about the boot thickness and longevity. The boots just aren't as thick as OEM.

While Toyota does not sell replacement ball joints for 100 series, they do sell OEM replacement boots.

So I will use new OEM boots with new 555 ball joints to get better performance. I will check into the grease when i get it.

    As far as I know you can as long it’s a 4 cylinder to a 4 cylinder. Can’t swap a v6 to 4 banger
