    My neighbor is a doctor.

they just laid off doctors at the hospital here because there’s an abnormally low amount of patients.

good news is we’re out of sip next week

Got some new U-bolts today from Headstrong, got here fast... Ordered them on Tuesday.

The Alcan ones I got with the springs were the wrong size, I sent them the specs for the OME ones off OME's website, but it turns out OME measures u-bolts differently than Alcan and that's why mine were off. So technically it was my fault and I couldn't ask them to send me another set for it.

That is good news in a way because that means the virus isn't affecting you guys so bad. But it sucks to get laid off no matter the circumstances.

Once the SIP order is lifted and people go about their normal routines again I'm sure hospitals will get busier and the docs will get their jobs back

Yes, P0141 indicates there is a problem in the heating circuit of the O2 sensor bank, sensor 2, so the after cat sensor. I too don't believe that would contribute to a miss that stays all the way through the RPM line. I also don't think the miss would be caused by the cracked exhaust manifold. If anything you may hear ticks on cold startups and then as the manifold gets hot the crack swells up and can quit ticking.
How about a vac leak? You guys already gone through the vac hoses and intake stuff?

Ya I had that code but for the first sensor, no change in performance at all just a check engine light. I did notice my closed loop AFRs were off but that was the only abnormal thing. New O2 sensor fixed it

Sprayed all vacuum lines with brake cleaner and no leaks. I know that leak caused the code. I was pretty sure it didn’t cause the misfire. No ticking on cold start or anything noisy so I think the leak isn’t too bad. I have parts to change the fuel pump out but don’t think that’s the issue. How do I know it’s not the IAC? Cleaned MAF before and new plugs and wires. Again I have no codes for a misfire. I’m stumped....guess I need a break.

Yeah I'd say it's a good idea to hold off on fuel pump for now as well.
The symptom you describe is most commonly caused by sparkplug, or sparkplug wires, or coil packs. You've looked at the 4 spark plugs right? You've tested the coil packs? A miss caused by any of those things doesn't always throw a code. It USUALLY does, but not always.
How's the intake tube and air box and that stuff? I've seen hairline cracks in the bottom of intake tubes that would've drove me nuts trying to find but already had been told to check there

New plugs and wires. They’re good and when i took the intake tube off to change the plugs and wires I didn’t see ant issues with it. Maybe it is the coils. Do you have any info on testing the ohm load on them to see if they’re good? Also may try recleaning the MAF and clean the IACV

Yeah couldn't hurt on cleaning those.
With the snap-on scanner it'd be interesting to see the fuel trim numbers to make sure they stay good through the rpm band. Once you know the injector and gas side of it is fine......wait a sec. It could be an injector couldn't it?

In rare cases yes. Break up at higher rpm could be a crank sensor dropping out, ive had that happen before

Possibly. Ain’t that common on these trucks? Need info on testing them and testing the coils.

Then you could definitely get a pretty penny for it. Assuming he sells it to you cheap. Got pics?
