    Oof

I've always liked XJs, but I like Toyota more hence why I went with the Tacoma.

I'd still take an XJ, park it next to the truck...

Owned 1, in 2001 I bought one, it was a 91 Limited, 10 yrs old then. I was a noob and learned a lot from that purchase :D
Was a repaint. It was okay, but just kinda okay. That 4.0L straight 6 was a beast though.... And TERRIBLE mpgs. But I didn't care.
I had no idea what to look for to help me know the history of the thing. I was like 22 yrs old, didn't know shit but thought I knew it all:rofl:only had it for about 6 months when my old man helped me trade it in on the 1994 Nissan Hardbody that had 33k miles on it
Anywho, I thought that Cherokee was the bees knees at the time. They are cool looking and are decent off road

I would wager that pic is from the Rogers area. Did you see this bike trail when you were up there?

    Dude, badass

I've only driven them but never owned one and you're right, gas mileage was horrible.

And a hard body? They're fucking bullet proof like a mother fucker...my uncles both have one that are identical to each other.

Stick shift base models with over 500k-600k miles

No. I avoided the black diamond type stuff as I wasnt (still arent) in shape to do it safely. I opted for the scenic, yet a tad bit technical routes.

My first car was a 93xj in 1999. Those straight 6 xjs were fast as hell compared to the other cars at the time, and it was one of the rare ones with the full time/part time 4x4 np242 tcase. I would drift it out of the high school parking lot evrey day and needed up getting an in school suspension for doing a smokey burnout in the middle of the parking lot on a friday. Replaced it with a 94yj. Ended up cutting the XJ in half with a concrete saw and scraping it after my friend knocked a tree over ontop of it with a bobcat. It was an offroad beater at that point.
