Ik your kidding but I'm actually kind of mad about the 79-83 trucks being in there. Those cabs, beds, and frames were WAY too clean. I'm going to possibly try and find some people that want the beds and get them out of there. But then again a lot of stuff didn't deserve to be in there.

You might be right on that bed. If it's rust free, for sure somebody around has to want it
I guess that's junkyard life in TX though huh? Freaking nice. I could only imagine the junkyards in the salt brine belt.... :puke:

If a mythical clean one in a sealed interior appears anywhere around here I'll hit you up.

My buddy lost his life in his garage using a brand name jack. He had jack stands available but opted not to use them.

I don't fuck around with it anymore

Yeah it's just insane that the Mexico, Guatemala, South American, etc. convoys haven't picked these parts up. The yard doesn't put high prices on things. But with a reputation for being a domestic yard and no online inventory maybe those guys don't even check the place.

I also hear that those guys tend to get banned from junkyards because they low ball SO hard. Met a guy in Grand Junction that was ranting about how 3 dudes came into his shop (small off road shop) and started yelling at him when he wouldn't budge on the price of a center console, 5VZ, and a trans. Owner kicked them out and they sped away in their Rav4 they use to tow with...

Also the fact they are trying to make "Engine Compartment Light" into the acronym E.C.L. makes me irrationally angry.

They're just trying to catch up to GM. Our 1990 suburban had a light on a wire, complete with a little housing it would reel up into. Almost bright enough to be useful too.
