Luckily it was easy to put back together....once you found where Milwaukee hid the screws that hold it together
This M12 speaker was headed for the landfill too(or trash, I'm being drama lol). Owner thought something broke or blew, no sound supposedly. I thought it's gotta be relatively simple in there. And it is, what's not simple is stupid hidden screws. Lol

Love that gen/body style and the two tone look. Black is kinda bleh but those are good looking 4Runners man. High quality too. Has the locker you say? Do it! Especially if you can trade stuff you have for it. Win - win:cool:

I saw it. Try $2500 at most 3000... they’re not nearly as ridiculously expensive as 1st gen tacos

hard to say I haven't looked at many T4Rs to know what they go for, but I do know they don't hold crazy value like 1st gen Tacomas do (for some reason...they're practically the same thing). Rear locker ones are definitely more sought after though

    what's the NADA/KBB values?

Yeah I can see it fetching maybe 3700-4300 on craigslist or something.

I do too; the boxier style just tells me, Wood.

And yes it's the rear locker and is a 4x4

What sucks is, if I end up enjoying the 4runner more on a daily basis, the Tacoma would become useless and an extra vehicle....

Ah Nada and KBB values are irrelevant in my opinion for these vehicles.

They don't hold their value like Tacomas do though that's for sure

If you're serious about the 4Runner, I'm glad it's happening before converting the taco to 4x4!
You can sell the taco for 2x - 3x 4Runner price! (I still can't wrap my head around first gen tacoma valueso_O)
Wait until you daily the 4runner man.... Very well made and comfy drive too. Coil spring rear FTW

Exactly why I'm considering it; the big swap hasn't happened and since I haven't purchased a transmission and transfer case yet I can just try a different vehicle altogether.

I've still got extra parts for my Tacoma that I haven't even installed...
