No complaints about 5100 ride here with 880s on the front. The ride got better after the AAL and shim to give some rear rake. I don't really understand the 5100 complaints.

My Kings actually ride harsher on the street than my 5100s/881 setup did, lol. But I attribute that to the preload on them and/or the heavier 600lb coils. The front steel bumper helped quite a bit as did getting them revalved, but when I had my 5100/881s back on while they were getting revalved I was really reminded how nice that relatively inexpensive setup was on the street.

The big difference though is out on the trail. Once you start driving with a little speed on dirt or bouncing over rocks, ruts, shelves, etc. on a technical trail the Kings are night/day better.

People that talk about how plush they are on the street must really have theirs dialed in because I've never experienced that. Not saying they are awful or anything but they are stiffer than the Billies were on 500# springs

I was trying to find some details or info about it, not too much in the ad.
What do they do about the center diff and AWD part of it? Will the front drive shaft still be turning?
Those locking hubs look beautiful though:drool::cool:
Maybe a paint color option for hub dials for @Kwikvette ? :D

Good questions. With the TC spool installed and the hubs unlocked, the front diff and CV axles do not turn. The diff lock button button becomes the 4WD selector at 50/50. The kit isn't for driving around with AWD on. The hubs can be locked for driving on the trail. But nothing happens up front until the diff lock button is activated. Then after that I would kick in the Harrop eLocker. Its all about keeping the CV axles and front diff from turning when driving about on the streets.

Oh that spool, I see it now. Yeah it can disconnect, sweet. And so since 100s came with center diff locker they can be converted or if they didn't come with it I guess you could still add it and still use this kit.
    I follow ya.
Just me personally, I'm a fan of the AWD.
I remember some guys were doing similar things to their 80s back in the day. I get it for lessening the daily wear and tear as these Yotas are way overkill for Murican streets.

It'd be kinda cool to be a delivery driver of medical supplies all over African continent or something like that. :cool:So you have to truly offroad everyday all day, not only for job but folks health counting on it! It's no wonder at all that they run Cruisers .... Well I guess it'd get old.... but yeah. :D

That was gonna be my dream set up. 100 series with OEM locker rear and use oem wiring and dial selector to add the Harrop locker up front.
That'd have been bad to the bone.

You thinking of going part time transfer case and going that route? Price for that high quality kit is better than I thought it'd be

it's crazy someone could try so hard to keep a 16+ year old truck looking brand spanking new on the outside but completely disregard it's well-being underneath lol.

Cold feet or he's selling it to someone willing to pay more? So nerve racking trying to buy a vehicle that will sit while you work on your other truck

Why in the FLIP can I only find side view "manual" mirrors where you have to physically touch the mirror to set it but i see pictures while searching the forum where there's a knob inside the cab to adjust it.. i want that style to replace my broken mirrors :(
