He’s pretty good man thanks for asking. Will be three weeks old this Thursday. Him being in the room isn’t bad at all tbh. He just wakes up crying when he’s hungry. He don’t even cry when he shits lol. He’s a really good baby and everything has went the way it should which is great. I’ve gotten to where I sleep through him crying at night when he’s hungry and her feeding him. :anonymous:

I'm sure there's more that I've blocked out of memory. I am ready for it to be over.

There was a restaurant that my wife and I went to go eat at. It was shit food and terrible service. The busboy noticed and tried to make it better by refilling drinks and continuously apologizing for the server. Whatevs. I tipped the busboy separately, and we took off. We decided to go have a drink at the axe bar that night and thought not much about it. The busboy happened to come in about an hour later as we were throwing axes. We bullshitted for a bit and he mentioned that he got in trouble for refilling our drinks and didn't get tipped out by the server, so he thanked me for tipping him directly.

The bar shared a 'backyard' fence and I saw they had a bunch of CO2 bottles. So, naturally I asked the busboy. He said, "Oh yeah, they have a pile of them that have been sitting back there for months"

    How much?
    One beer.
    Fuck yeah.

When we went to leave, there was a tank sitting in the back of my Tundra. Since I have subjective morals, I didn't care much about the source of the bottle, I just bought a regulator, a mount from Amazon, and had it filled.

    OBA for under $100.

This kid literally sounds like every fucking newb we have at work. I take it he's a computer science undergrad who feels his skills are not being tested while whining about fucking everything difficult?

haha yeah you get really good at learning how to sleep through the noise. I'm usually a light sleeper but I end up sleeping through a lot now. It's weird some nights she'll sleep like a rock and other nights a creak in the floorboard from the other side of the house will wake her up.

The first few weeks where they have to wake up to eat every few hours are rough but man the first time they sleep for 8 - 10 hrs straight it's like a miracle. We usually have her down by 10pm then she gets up at 6 - 7am. 8am if we're lucky lol.

    @esxcli

    He's just the worst type.

Very toxic, everyone is against him, and nothing is ever his fault.

On another note, this is the second time in a row that I dropped something off to get media blasted and the owner didn't charge me

Scheduled to talk with the company lawyers today at 2pm, was described as a "witness" in the emails between them and my supervisor...don't like the way that sounds.

That’s crazy. Yeah It really isn’t that hard on me tbh. We have him in his bed by 9 latest. They say babies aren’t bound to routines till like a month old but I feel like that’s some bull. Dudes ready to eat every night at 8 then we change him and put him down.

Edit: my little dude sleeps through everything. I mean everything. My wife had him outside on my dads patio aand me and a couple buddies was a good 100 yards away or so shooting our AR’s and dude didn’t even wake up. Lol.

Yeah, we have a lot of them at work. They get hired on the help desk and complain that they are capable of doing more while simultaneously asking me questions about the most mundane shit. I hear them bitch a lot amongst each other at lunch about pay and workload. Some claim they are being held back by age and experience. "If I just got the chance to do more..." Then they struggle inputting user info into Active Directory. If you can't do the thing you get paid for, WTF would we give you something which requires a base of knowledge to complete?"

Most don't bitch to me, as it becomes a verbal slaughter when I explain that I am in my position because of 20 years of IT work, a dual undergrad in physics and applied math, and enough certifications to reflect my actual job, not just the field of work/study.

I always used to wonder why the senior guys at any job I've ever had always had a chip on their shoulder, now I know exactly how they felt.

    Fuckin clown shoes.

Sounds exactly like the kind of guy I'm having to talk with the lawyers about later on today. He's trying to sue over a bunch of false claims because he was laid off with several others when the company downsized.

    Hah, good. Fuck him.

This might sound cold, but COVID is the greatest thing that ever happened to our department. We got rid of two systems engineers out of eight total our team who were the most useless humans, perhaps ever. The three months while they were furloughed, we redesigned, reviewed and did operational turn-over for each. I like to imagine they put them on furlough and then had a Office Space type discussion.

"We uhhhh... We fixed the glitch. So he won't be receiving a paycheck anymore, so it will just work itself out naturally"

you nailed it. This assclown acts like he's better than everyone and won't stop pretending that he's an intellectual who knows better when he's a basement dwelling cock sock who has never endured any hardship. That doesn't stop him from acting like he's a victim of his company/boss/snow/me blah blah

Took the words out of my mouth.

We were able to weed out several others as well here at work.

    Know why?

Because you've been firm throughout all of this, which is probably longer than you ever have been :luvya:
