    If you are shopping at Rock Auto, Intermotor is usually reboxed OEM. If you are in a pinch and need a part on a holiday weekend, O'Reilly sells Intermotor.

    Of course, you'll pay through the nose for it at O'Reilly. But they do have it. If you are on good terms with a store, and you buy the part and it turns out not to be the problem, I've been able to return the part for refund. Just depends on the relationship with the store.

    That would leave him stuck with a part he doesn't need/ won't use because it was not the fix. Good to know when in a hurry and need parts fast and expensive.
