Probably but funds were limited at the time. If I can fix the tcase shifting and sell the damn thing for about $6500, then I might consider going with one of those. But bills first.

Yeah, the PO admitted to never having used it. What pisses me off the most is that IT WAS WORKING YESTERDAY! This morning it decided it was going to shit the bed. I just tried pulling the 4wd 20A fuse and reinstalling it. Now it flashes and beeps at me in 4HI and the light stays light in 4LO. Fucking stupid shit. I have the negative battery terminal disconnected right now to see if I can get the 4wd ecu to reset.

I hear this is comen with sequoia and forerunner. Because all the soccer moms get them and get 4wd for that trip to the mountains they say they will always do but never do so it never gets used and causes issues when you want to finally use it

    Everything but the driveshaft. B03A - 410
Could it be as simple as a loose wire? Hopefully, the issue isn't that bad. Will Techstream diagnose it?

Not a loose wire. Not sure if Techstream can or not, I need to hook it up and see.

Test the front diff actuator. They typically go bad before the tcase actuator and they’ll draw the whole system down

Yeah, the 4runner is driveable, it just beeps at me now. It says it's in 4lo and beeps only in 4hi with the 4lo light flashing. And I can drive the Taco if I shouldn't be driving the 4runner like that.
