Lol yeah, we rolled through Virginia City (which is an old mining town above Reno that still has the original wooden planked sidewalks and old saloons).

    Got a lot of "Woooooooooo!"

The break-through to do custom auto shit is insane. It takes forever to build a name. Unless you're doing one of a kind jobs, you'll be just about name in the crowd.

One bad job can sour a lot of potential customers because of how fickle car enthusiasts are.

I make a living selling car horns, if you find your niche it makes good money.

So, that's kinda what I mean. WTF thinks, "I love wrenching and cars, I'll sell horns"

My nephew spent 8 years working in a high-end machine shop, was blueprinting and building parts for Ultra 4 buggies, living the dream as an underpaid monkey.

Bought a 3D printer and started making custom fob cases for locals, and started building shift knobs. Brainless work that now nets him 150k a year.

Less work, more pay. Not as much fun while working, but plenty of money to afford toys now.

It just kinda happened, I wasn’t looking for business ventures. Posted a video of my horn setup out of a 1985 Cadillac DeVille on here and I was flooded with messages asking about it.

From my post in the "Use it or lose it" reminder to use the 4lo selector monthly thread on the 4runner forum, I got a reply:

I'm gunna run out now and check tire pressures! I bet that's the issue! :thumbsup:o_O

My 2.7 with 5MT is naturally aspirated and bone stock with 240k miles. It’s a slug.

Chime in with what you think is the best move for radiator replacement.

    Koyo ≈$370

    Alloyworks ≈$200

Rock auto has one under “Premium/OE” by Liland for ≈$160

    164100C032 On a dealership site ≈$200

Pic of the small crack attached.
