Hey Man -- Mine arrived today too. The size is exactly a 2XL. Not too baggy. Nice vented shirt for fishing.

    Stock again- rip slug

Wanna do an exhaust thru the rear bedside before the axle. Might as well pay to get it done right and stop dicking with it

I don't know how you do it in a shop with no AC. I imagine you have those big ass fans to at least move air in there?

Had a ball joint blow out on me. Nothing catastrophic, I caught it in time but putting a new one in... do I torque the four bolts with the weight on the truck?

Or just torque the castle nut with the weight on the truck?

You don’t need to torque anything with the weight of the truck except for control arm bushings

    Nice
Sure do move air. Makes all the difference. I worked in a warehouse years ago that surprisingly was tolerable in dead nuts of summer. And those fans MOVE some air, so I couldn't imagine a 480V, Holy canolli

I’ve tried convincing them to get a big ass fan.. But of course. Us techs don’t matter.

    You're the man!

I buggered up the outer tie rod end getting it out of the ball joint so I've got to replace that as well :(

Just count how many turns to get it out and do the same back in correct? That should be loosely okay till I get an alignment right?

Its actually not that great...yet. Have to redo the vent its blowing out of so it actually pushes air outside instead of the hot air bouncing off the vent and coming right back inside. Once thats fixed, were expecting a big temp drop.

Machines at my job run on steam, so to say it gets toasty inside would be an understatement.

    Damn, bummer.
Yeah, by counting threads or Measuring length you are trying to get that joint back to the exact same spot. As possible as that is without equipment. So yeha counting threads but then you have to make sure the two parts are identical in length to go by thread count. I find like a combo of measuring length of rod to the center of the end, before removing and then checkimg how. Alike they are to see if thread count would get me close as well. I've had decent luck this way.

On my post I was thinking length helping in my past and that's on solid axle Cruisers that run long tie rods. So my bad, prolly not as applicable to your scenario hermano

    It's all good :)

Thankfully I instinctively checked length on the parts first and the they were the same so hopefully it won't crab walk on my way home
