Nice! To be completely honest I've never seen a toyota with that type of seat belt .. all my experience with that style has been with american made sedans from the 80s, I've done side jobs on 2 different buicks with that seatbelt and both were stuck in the open position

I had two Scion tC's before my truck. First one was the original model like that one, drove it completely problem free for 160k miles before trading it in on a 2012 one that I had for 70k before getting my truck. They are good cars

I see the trunk latch has been replaced on it... That was a huge issue for the first tC's lol, mine included. They would snap off like balsa wood. Almost every one of them you see now has one replaced or taped back on. For some reason Toyota never issued a service bulletin for it

The 4 banger doesn't put out a ton of power but it scoots behind the manual trans

I was looking at those too, they seem pretty decent. Not sure how they are on the interstate though.

My sister has had two of those, also good cars and they scoot along pretty well. The tC feels more sporty though imo

I'm just browsing right now. See what happens with getting the t-case fixed (leak free) and get shit paid off and then worry about finding a beater. So probably in a couple weeks I'll look a little more seriously. Maybe. I always have the bike but it's kinda hard to carry bigger parts on that.

For that money, I'll stick with my early 80's Stihl. Can't leave bar oil in the reservoir, otherwise it leaks out into the case, but beside that, it's a good old saw!!
