Only used for oil feed and drain lines for turbo setups, but I always bought lines/kits with multiple fittings

ive got a oil thermostat for my future trans setup.. dont want to run -an lines.. going to run hard line to rubber line with quick connects, then the other side quick connect on the stock cooler lines... but apparently finding push connector fittings (or hell i'd take regular hose barbs!)

So you want to use a transcooler at a specific temp but bypass it when temps are cooler?

since i wont be using the factory cooler in the radiator and we get cold winters. i want to have the trans up to 160 degrees relatively fast. so yea. ideal trans temps are 160-180 for fluid life. the 40,000 gross vehicle weight cooler is complete overkill. so without the t-stat i'd be overcooling the trans

its a thermostat... 2 lines in.. 2 lines out.. when the t-stat is closed. it bypasses the output so the fluid just goes back into the trans...

I know how it works, just like how it operates once installed, like if it actually does a good job regulating temps

I remember that conversation, makes sense.

Definitely not your guy to rig something like that up; if it were me I'd probably end up putting the transcooler in an area that isn't out and up front like the radiator. It'll allow heatsoak as needed but not remain as hot seeing how it's not attached to a warm radiator.

it should.. i mean.. ive installed them on old air cooled bugs that had over cooling issues with bigger oil coolers

trans cooler goes right out front. i dont want to see anything above 190 when towing. so i'll try my best to make sure it doesnt. I might just do hard line to the thermostat and put an AN fitting on the hard line.. then AN hardline out with bundy connectors on the end... make it one unit to remove should i need to... i over think things... alot
