The search for a suitable core support/fender apron donor continues. I swear if any 1st gen actually makes it into a yard within 5 hours of me it's been slammed into a concrete barrier and rolled 47.5 times. In theory I could put a 3rd gen 4Runner front end on. Tons of those in good shape. I browse car-part.com daily and watch craigs/marketplace. Can't go new since the Rock Auto ones have a bad reputation for cracking.

Get the runner core support and apron. It’ll work good enough at this point

You think I'll run into too much of an issue putting a 95-97 Taco front end on one? My current headlight brackets are cracked and zip ties hold the lights in place. Worst case scenario I pull out my old 4Runner headlights and just live with a 4Runner front end

Yeah the frame is good so I'm pretty dead set on fixing it up.

 

Sometimes you guys confuse me, Guys in hawaii have a huge hard dick to 4runner swap tacomas, and tacoma swap 4runner front ends... I personally dont get it. I like it but for the effort meh.

 

i doubt it.. people do taco front end swaps easily on the 4runners

you mean i did an evaporator and trans along with a compressor and condenser today.. and you coudlnt wire a trailer?

 

Wiring a trailer is hard work, first the trailer has to want to be wired
