Holy shit, Fiona done fucked up.

She's on house arrest and here she went out and got wasted on drugs and alcohol; now she's stuck in the middle of nowhere

Unfortunately not for a bar this new. Federal Signal went in the way of Apple and soldered the pods to the logic board.

The older ones you can swap them easily. Or you can buy a Whelen lightbar, those are modular.

Also, the first lightbar is a Whelen Edge 9000 and the second one is a Federal Signal Aerodynic.

As someone as experienced as you... you couldn't solder the right lights to the board and reprogram it?

Oh I definitely could do that. Actually being able to buy the parts separate from the board is a whole other story. The pods are all soldered to a board and come as a single unit.

 

Blue is even more illegal than red.

Not legal. Can’t use flashing white lights or strobes - that’s what triggers the sensors on stoplights to turn green for emergency vehicles.

Amber and green are the only legal colors.

In California at least. Other states are different. My last lightbar was a blue one and it came off a tow truck in Texas.

 

I’m just going to go burn this truck. I for the life of me can’t get this door closed. Search results basically sum up to wd40 it. How hard is it to swap actuators ?
