    Wanted to watch the hunt

Plus the cats will usually eat bugs so there's no mess to clean up, except for the times when they get bored halfway through killing one and then you have to deal with a half dead lizard/grasshopper/spider/etc.

Did you ever see those beige vinyl carport structure things that Costco was selling for a few years?
My old house was in a location that saw serious wind gusts. The sun and wind caused the original material to be done in less than 3 years. Here's the sweet part, I replaced all of that with that corrugated tin roofing stuff, you know? And it was SOLID. I anchored the posts into the concrete with red heads/lag bolts. I was very much impressed after replacing the vinyl with the tin.
If you don't have concrete to anchor the posts to, I saw a simple yet ingenious way to secure the poles without concrete floor at a customer's house. He used big ass rail road ties on each side to secure the posts to. Was as sturdy as mine anchored into the concrete.

Man, if I could do it all over with what I know now... :D:rofl:

Dude still thinking about the shelter lol
Know what? Having it on those railroad ties on the sides would also give more height to the opening for parking something under there. Like you could even leave the crawler on the trailer to park and clear the opening... Just a factor to possibly keep in mind, as it's one that could've helped me in hindsight
