That would be pretty unique if you could make it work. Haven’t been around 60s much to know the size difference.

It's mainly for the round headlights look. I'll probably PS some renders to see if it's palatable.

@04Pre_Runner you think i should do the apron? its bugging me. i want to fix it dern it. looking at other photos i took i do believe all the damage is limited to the front right. the unibody itself seemed fine. all the doors opened fine other than the passenger right... but that whole doors bent

That same generation Corolla in my neighborhood got rear ended and slammed into a wall. This older man has already fixed the front end which involved a fender apron. Now he's cutting out a section of the trunk and body to graft in a new section where it spun around and hit. Been watching his progress since it's on one of my running routes.

What would stop me if your Corolla was mine is the A pillar and slight unibody damage around the passenger door hinges. If I had an 800K mile Corolla it would kill me not to fix it too though.

i dont think the pillar really took much of a hit. i wont know until i have it here and pull the door off. but im 90% sure im buying it back (unless they want an ungodly amount of money for it) junkyard parts are plentiful. hopefully most of the interior is savable.. time will tell.

That seems to be why they're such a common rebuild car down here. I've seen countless girls in college here whipping a salvage title Corolla their father/grandfather rebuilt and gave to them. Would be nice if you could find a rear ended car in the same color. Same reason I'm eyeing a sunfire red pearl 98 4Runner and hoping it's fenders are still there.
