I've done a mod or two
Side note. The Starrett precision bubble level with clino adjustment, has to be the biggest piece of expensive shit I've ever encountered

I had access to a clapped out bridgeport mill, a big lathe, and a practically new Hurco CNC mill (and a Kurt vise!) with all the accessories back in school. I've been ruined ever since.

Starret, B&S, Mito etc are no different than Snap on. Most of their stuff knocks it out of the park, but other things you just have to ask yourself why in the hell would people pay money for it.

Looks nice and beefy, and I guess speed adjustable without fiddling with belts?

If I ever get super excited about drilling holes and spending money at the same time, it would be fun to swap in a 3 phase motor and a VFD. Seems very convenient.

@Blue92 I died and went to heaven. There’s a huge electronic store in San Jose I just got back from.

I’m sure you’d know what some of this stuff is.

Look at this freaking fuse! Normal 12v fuse on the left for comparison. The big one is rated for 600v at 350 Amps.

Found a perfect box for my project. $45 with a student discount.

Any idea what the stuff in it is for?
