A good heavy ale or stout shouldn't be served ice cold, but god damn, room temp beer? wtf?

Wife and I were on our way to Scotland for our honeymoon and did a little pub crawl in York. Yeah, beer was warm. After the 3rd or 4th you stop caring.

    Right?

I got lucky when I was in Amsterdam and went to a bar with a fair amount of Beer on tap. The Heineken brewery is over there and is fairly popular, but I opted for some locally brewed beer.

Since we're on to international travels now, got paid to go to Switzerland for a software training, when that was over wife and I went to Germany for a week. Did a couple beer "tours" then checked out the vomitorium at the Hofbrauhaus in Munich. She was 4 months pregnant so I got to drink all her beer. :bananadance:

Local beers are NOW where its at because they brew their own beer, I like that better than beer in a bottle. You can purchase a keg, once you're done with the keg you can return it or get more. There's a place in Dallas that does that.

Quick question dudes, got one of my front 5100's apart to replace the stock coils with 881's I was planning to set the 5100 at the lowest setting, but yesterday somebody in here, I think it was @eon_blue said they had to set theirs in the middle with 5100's to get 2 inches of lift. Just wanna make sure that's okay to do, I had heard with 5100's and 881's that it had to be on the lowest or it could damage the strut

Just called wheelers and asked them and he said middle setting will be fine, just ride a little stiffer, but totally safe

Generally, you don't want to "stack lifts", so if you have a lift coil, you should leave the 5100 at the "stock" height and let the coil do the lifting. That's just so you don't over extend the shock or cause your CV to have a bad angle at full droop.

Since the 5100 itself is designed to handle 2.5" (or 3" depending on who you talk to) of lift, you should be okay to run the 881's which are a 1.5" lift (iirc), plus the 1" from the middle setting on the 5100.

You gotta be careful though, since it's super easy to just tweak that lift just a little more and set the clip higher. This is why most people just say you should leave the 5100 at the lowest setting.

You can also "stack lifts" sometimes, but it's really only specific situations, and you really have to know what you're doing.

They know they will eventually, though. I bet that's the first place you think next time you need something.
