I grew up in a Maryland outside of Washington DC .... Have you ever gotten the pleasure of visiting our nation's capital? The Mall (where most the museums, monuments and stuff are at) is so affluent and uppity it gives tourists the sense of wealth but go just a few blocks outside of the 'safe tourist' zone and it's impressive how quickly you want to lock your doors

Oh yeah I’ve been there before. I stayed in Silver Spring! I’ve heard it’s very uppity.

Dude, I saw a newer, like only a few years old at the most, F250 go into death wobble on the freeway. I've had DW before, shit is NOT fun at freeway speeds.

@esxcli may sound and look like he tough, but he's a big fucking muscly teddy bear that knows how to take care of shit if he needs to.

Nice! I grew up in southern PG county.. Yea silver spring is in the NW and is considered the uppity part of PG county, but not as rich as Montgomery or Prince William county.

Fun fact PG county is the only county I've lived in or come across that abbreviated its name lol it's actually Prince George's county but NO ONE who lives or has ever lived there calls it that

    Fuck...that's real inconsiderate.

Bet if you end up talking to his parents they might do or say something, unless they're the type to enable their shithead kids to be shitheads.

I can't stand DC, or any other like place where that many freaking filthy dirty sleezeball politicians can be found(liars cheaters manipulators, and that's who makes the decisions for us :facepalm:smdh) ....and that means ALL OF THEM.
Back on topic so I don't get banned for that comment:D, I flew out to DC with a friend for a couple of Washington Nationals playoff games, like 5 or 6 years ago.... Your assessment is very accurate. I feel fine around normalness though, it's when I'm surrounded by those affluent uppities you mention where I feel uncomfortable (not really but I just say that because it bugs me how many people say they feel uncomfortable around poor people and poor areas:rofl::cool:)

Sounds like Hollywood or Downtown LA. You have 8 blocks or so of huge, impressive buildings, parks, statues, fancy bars and restaurants, etc. Literally go one block outside of that particular zone and it's like you stepped into a 3rd world country.

Thats where the best bars were though

I hear ya! It makes my skin crawl being around all them suits.. I was living there when the DC sniper was on his 'rampage' and I was very upset they didn't target more politicians :anonymous:

right, I was gonna go with the "I know you care about your car and are excited about it but you gotta stop" as politely as I can manage. The issue is that the last few times I've been home for it I was many beers deep and not feeling very polite

One of my best friends in college ended up living in an apartment over Skid Row in downtown LA after we graduated (he was working nights as a bartender downtown). I spent countless nights drinking at his bar for the cheap/free drinks then we'd crash at his pad. Walking through Skid Row at 2am was a...sobering experience, most times
