For $10k it better be way low mileage

The 4runners don't hold value like the Tacomas do and it's a 4banger on top of that...at least it has the 5spd though

10 grand for a 22 year old bare bones base model 4 cyl? I'd think it's likely not worth 10 large. I did the kbb googles for you:

It's criminal to ask these prices.... Seriously, it's BS. I feel bad for the suckers that get doped into it

They are probably thinking it's just like a 1st gen Taco so it should bring in the same kind of $$$...while I understand that thinking, the market doesn't reflect it. For whatever reason the 3rd gen 4runners don't hold near the same kind of resale value that the 1st gen Tacomas do unless they are fully loaded. A base model 4banger like that for $10k? no way...unless maybe it's got like 10k miles on it.

It's less Tacoma and more mod
Ordered a new gas pedal and throttle cable for the LC, figured I'd just refresh everything in there. I don't even know why. Maybe I'll get a kickdown cable too

I still owe a little bit left on the truck, and it's a $3k fix. I feel like I'll be going nowhere with my payment lol was thinking about trading it in for second gen or wondering if itll be worth to keep.

How much of a DIYer are you?
Are you the V6 or 4 cyl? Can you tear it down enough to do just the valve? Or are you wanting to just put a new head on it? What are you thinking on it? And has the burnt exhaust valve already been verified?
