Taking out the front diff wasn't so bad with the floor jack. Actually my daughter steadied the jack while I unbolted the last bolt that held it up. But getting it back in seemed harder to balance it on the jack and get into place. I'm glad my buddy who does mechanic work stopped by that day.

Not yet. Just got it back from the body shop late yesterday. I need to spend some time on the trailer hitch to clean it up and repaint it. I'll be working weekends through the end of the month. It may be Labor Day weekend before I make any real progress.

I will tell you that I'm really happy with the job the body shop did on the trim. So detailed.

Heading over to tractor supply to get some industrial solvent for the parts washer.

Maybe I can finally throw her on the engine stand and get started fixing it up.

Yeah but did you not see the squirrel on the 3rd tree to the left attempting to rape the other one?

Something about if you watch one long enough, you'll either see it rape a squirrel or get raped by one o_O

Horny and hungry. They keep dropping wet pine cones from 60 feet. 1 went through a neighbor's front window on his ranger.

Finished up the CB install this morning. Kind of a bitch getting it mounted on the console like that. And running power. I had the whole center console and center dash out to find power and figure out the mounting. That ended up being 1/4" holes in the plastic and a couple old fender screws that were slightly bigger and self tapping. Mic is in the center console and I'll just leave it loose for now.

Also swapped in the 2wd dash bezel. No more hole for the 4hi/lo selector. I'll paint the rest of the silver part on the center console when I do the tcase swap since it all comes out again.

Haha damn that's crazy. I always worry walking under the palm trees in our neighborhood because some of them are 4+ stories high and drop rock hard seeds about the size of a quarter, sometimes they drop whole palms which have really sharp pointed ends.

Death from falling palm tree leaves, what a shitty way to go
