@Empty_Lord I know 2nd gens are bigger. But aren't the interior bed dimensions between trucks the same?

I think they are slightly wider (2nd gens), because I know the bed caps don't fit between the two. At least not perfectly

That's lame they give you references to the other brands as to where the measurements came from but not the toyotas

Either way, those interior dimensions are close enough I think I'm gunna bite the bullet

My only issue is those compartment things.... are those cubby holes standard on all 2nd gen tacoma beds?

Oh shit you're the man! You've got both to compare side by side

Not now cause of weather for you of course but could you get me the width inside the wheel wells on both your trucks?

    Sweet! Thanks a million

I'm trying to confobble up a way to make my truck bed bedroom as "plush" as I had it in the various vans I've lived out of and i don't think I could manufacture something similar to that bed rug for that kinda price.

Are their factory drain holes in the second gen bed? The advertising wank talks about being able to hose it off and it draining like normal but I know I don't have any holes in my first gen bed.. I'd be alot wetter if there were some

1st gen beds have slots where floor meets front panel about 4" long on each side.

Thank you for the education :)

What I really want to do is buy a tundra bed and make it the width of my tacoma bed but keep all that juicy length... sleeping at an angle is getting annoying:rofl:

Damn.. watching install videos shows me the front section of the bed has the width of the wheel wells built into them so this idea is going to work less that i thought.

    Back to the drawing board

Your silly ... the whole point of the wife having a boyfriend is so she can get her jollys WITHOUT having to see the person after she's done
