I shoulda bought a cat instead of bushings and sliders lol I'm at the same cost now, your price is too rich for my blood..

just kidding. I'm amazed it hasn't sold yet.. if only you were closer I'd be right there

    double kidding

But seriously, you wanna right me a lay away contract? Ill pay you in installments and when the balance is reached I'll drive down there and we can swap.

Otherwise I've got too many other things to do to the truck before I can justify a bumper.. although ill be honest when that thing came up on the marketplace, I had to fight ever fiber of my being from sending you a message and driving down there that weekend:anonymous:

Very very rare to find anything partswise for a 1st gen tacoma on the CL around here. All I get are 2nd and 3rd gen takeoff crop and stuff for the 80s pickups. Oh and EVERYTHING toyota related because I live near a town called tacoma so when you search "toyota tacoma" it's a hot mess

The TW member I met up with yesterday looked at it and said "that thing is freaking new" lol didn't even notice the small shipping damage until I pointed it out (deep scratch into the finish).

Fox should be coming off soon; I just need to find time to get the springs off these crappy shocks and move them over to the Bilstein 5100s.

You got yourself some quality LCA bushings so you've got that going for ya

Since you're taking stuff apart, I may have extra odds and ends I should send your way. Referring to the bolts, gaskets, seals, I bought for my 4x4 swap. I'll use some, but not all of them.

I'll never say no to more parts! Do you have a spring compressor? Or are you gunna send em off to have em swapped out? I think i settled on 5100s up front with the eibach 620 springs.. its cheaper if I buy em separate but I need to find new top hats.

Plus I'll have to paint the coils cause I really don't wanna run the stock eibach silver lol

I don't have a spring compressor, and not sure when would be the best time to bother one of the techs to get the coil off. We've got a wall mounted one in our shop, so I might tip someone to do it for me.

I didn't know they had 620lbs, always thought they were only available in 50lb increments...interesting.

Hell yea! I miss having those fringe benefits with working in a shop :D tip em in beer, cheaper for you and always appreciated (at least it was for me lol)

They don't specifically offer them at least i havent found them direct anyway. They offer you 600s but in my research I've found old threads where people have gotten springs that are stamped with 620 (and some 580) on them and having been in equipment manufacturing my experience tells me that they have an acceptable range at the factory (so you don't waste money on materials) and after they QC them they get stamped (or etched) with the figure from actual testing

So it's my goal to get ahold of a sales rep that can walk the stockroom and pull ones that are labeled 620 and if i get anything that isn't that I'll mail em back and repeat the process till I get what I want:rofl:
