They still make these, I saw one at Home Depot. Not much has changed about the design in the last 70 years.

 

Their name still lives in which is kinda cool. I remember seeing their brand under Eaton.

 

I believe Eaton still uses Cooper lighting as their cheap line of fixtures. Atleast every cooper fixture we get at work is imo, junk.

 

Wow my brake fluid looks bad... need to put motul 5.1 in.. this shit in there is only 2 years old.

 

That's silly. Brake fluid is like transmission fluid and fuel filters. Lifetime part

Yep they do, and yep you're right

Eaton has kept the name of almost every company they buy because 1)people have an association with the name of companies they 'trust and 2) it's soooo much cheaper to NOT have to change production line setups over something as trivial as name branding.


Alot of times Eaton will just put "by Eaton" after the name of who made it originally

 

Decided to try and see if the oxidation of the paint on my Bayliner would come off, I was convinced it needed a new paint job. This is after wet standing with 3,000 Grit, Hard Cut - Medium Cut - Fine Cut compound, and then followed by wax. It turned out really nice, once I get the boat all buttoned up I'm going to detail the rest of the gel coat. The hull is in immaculate condition for being 43 years old.
