I also haven’t had any problem with this I don’t think, but I haven’t had any really blown up big.

    @Seagull233 has a couple

I have one too :), you can see the JPG artifacting from the image compression, thankfully on a wall it is unlikely to be approached. I still love the image, but the quality in the final print is lacking hardcore. You have a good eye, your color is good, framing is good, and subject matter is captivating. You're just lacking the technical side of it, once you have that you'll have some serious winners.

    I edited that comment.
Your canvas also came from my old Nikon point and shoot, and some good ol iPhone photo app editing. Probably didn’t help it’s case

@JKO1998 It's not hard by the way, or expensive. Plus it lets me automate many of my pictures just based on how I like things from my camera to typically look as a baseline. I spend on average 45secs on a picture before moving to the next one in the camera roll

Yeah, it's about as powerful as you'd ever need and it doesn't have any extra junk to make it confusing. It's really one of Adobe's better programs, this coming from someone who's taken multiple classes in Photoshop and InDesign (hate indesign). The Lr and Ps bundle for students is a great deal.

Okay, expanding on my brief interactions yesterday. I've noticed a few things about Tinder...

I have gotten two nude pictures I didn't ask for. Unfortunately, they were not flattering, so I responded by finding a review of the InstaPot on Amazon with 3 stars:

I've also received two offers for NSA "fun times." I had no idea this part of the internet existed.
Chicks really like tacos, I don't know why. I mean, they're good, but not life changing...
EVERYONE is a pro fucking hiker/explorer.

    Dude, is this real life?

Do you mean you export them in jpeg? If you export in jpeg that's OK but you want to do your editing on RAW images, you have 100000000 times more quality to work with.

JPEGs by their nature lose quality every time you save over them, if you plan on saving out an image that you might want to work on again, make sure you save it out as a .psd (photoshop file) or TIFF file if you don't have Photoshop. There's also DNG format that works too. PSD,TIFF,DNG files can be edited/saved edited/saved edited/saved times infinity and never lose quality. Jpegs will continually lose quality every time you edit and save them.

I guess export them, I’m sure a phone would probably fill up fast if every image that came through had all the raw data

Yup, same here after the complete lack of communication on their part. I really gave them a chance and completely understand the owner having health issues. But it's still no excuse for the lack of communication from them.

well yeah, if you're using your phone to back up every image you take lol. I would back them up on a cloud service and/or a standalone hard drive in RAW format along with your edited files. Can put your favorites or 'portfolio' or whatever onto a web service that you can access from your phone so you aren't having to store them in your phone.

Hrm. Maybe I need to try Tinder out here. But that could also be a horrible idea as there are some true hags out here.

All my shit gets backed up to google photos. I also upload them to smugmug since sharing is easier that way. And also sharing is caring.

I really need to back up all my photos from school and when I was freelancing onto a web server. I have them all backed up onto hard drives that havent been turned on in probably 5+ years, lol. I'm afraid of what might happen when I plug them in, hell some of them probably won't even plug into most new computers.

Here at work we have a massive server network everything gets backed up onto so I don't really worry about it.

Photos I want to share with friends/family I usually just put up on Dropbox and send out a link, if it needs to be more presentable then would probably use a private link on my website

But the phones so convenient, I know there’s better options, but this is the easiest.

It generates a comparatively poor result though, it's a waste of talent and effectively time. Using a computer would save you both

well I hope you're at least backing them up somewhere else on occasion, because I can't really think of a more risky place to save original files than a device you carry around all day in your pocket who's operating lifespan is only designed to be a few years or more - if you're lucky and you don't lose it or break it in the process

You know there are automated internet backup services that will automatically backup your files on a daily basis if you want them to (or weekly or whatever). They aren't expensive
