More like bring out another trillion...

I can't imagine what boat owners who don't do their own work are paying. The outboard shop I went to told me they straight up reject all older sterndrive/inboard outboards and all outboards made before 1986 because it's straight up not worth it.

I'm just sick of waiting for certain items to arrive.

Durobumps won't ship for another 2-3 weeks?

I agreed to pay the extra 14 bucks for FedEx since USPS doesn't play nice when mailing stuff to my house, but have yet to see that invoice.

That and my lower links are all that's needed to deliver.

I just keep finding issues with mine. I've got a potential head gasket leak, I've got steam coming out of the vapor recirculation tube. It runs super hot too, peaks at 220 degrees. I don't know how accurate the boat gauge is. Think it needs a new impeller as well.

Also the nav light doesn't work, someone stole the horn... and the fishfinder...

Not so worried about the HG. It's a pushrod I4 designed in 1965. It's ez money.

I've been waiting forever for my seal kits.. I lost track of when I should've gotten em because the last time rock auto sent me an email saying it'd be a week it was at the beginning of sept lol. It feels even longer cause I wanted to order em when I got my rack and pumps to rebuild and that was almost 2 months ago for the rack:rofl:

I read through that rack rebuild thread multiple times and just decided I wouldn't attempt it on my 99's steering rack. Think I'll buy a Toyota reman and just toss mine. Or just tons and 40s. /s

Durobumps are a great product but are notoriously slow to ship out. Unlike RST tho, you will get them, eventually.

I sent a message to the Durobump people telling them that I'm planning to purchase some bumps from them to use on my 100 series based on the year and model 4Runner bumps that people are buying from Wheelers and if they would be interested in working with me identify their parts that are compatible. I never received a response. I like the looks of the product.

So I had placed my order on the 14th of last month, and I had done so knowing that their orders usually ship out in 21 days.

My only issue would be if they ship via USPS, which I specifically asked them not to do, via email.

Been 5 weeks now, and I'm hoping if they did send them out, that they didn't go through USPS.

Heard a lot of good things, minus the premature cracking.

@eon_blue had a set for his front LCA's and one cracked not long into ownership.

The problem is in the design it's a cylindrical bumpstop but as the arm swings up only the inner part contacts the frame

Iirc they made a prototype that was mounted on an angle or whose actual bumpstop material was angled to fix that issue
