i'd probably be alot futher along and happier with my projects if i didnt expect perfection from myself.

 

I had that same problem when I used to build new power equipment. Had a boss tell me

"I can't sell perfect, but I can sell done "


Stuck with me ever since.

I grew up the same way. I had all of two B's in high school and graduated because my parents would accept nothing less than perfection

 

I expect perfection from myself with most I do but know its unobtainable thus don't even try

 

eh my fathers been a perfectionist with everything he puts time into mechanically. its just rubbed off on me.

its odd.. my grandfather was half ass with all his personal stuff and so is my uncle. my father? perfection. i mean this is the boiler and indirect water heater we installed last year. it was done as good as you could. fuck its actually a poster child of proper installation at the local plumbing supply store
