    New Toyota 84 month batteries are $129 with an exchange at my local dealer. Not a bad price for a 27F. The warranty is 50/50 for 25 to 48 months then 25% after that. I feel like Toyota batteries are good.

    We also have a Batteries Plus store where I can get an X2Power AGM for $353 with tax. Considering the cost difference, is the X3Power with a 60-month full replacement really worth the additional cost?

    Any experiences in the group with either battery?

    I'd be getting the X2 power one, the AGM batteries perform much better all around and don't corrode terminals and off gas. Toyota batteries are just like any other cheapo lead acid flooded plate battery. Nothing special, they come from the same OEM that makes wally world batteries and vatozone batteries.

    :rofl::rofl::rofl:

    That one in particular flipping gets me! Especially when someone else responds with an oil analysis that's says 10k old oil still has life left in it. Those responses ALWAYS get glossed right the fuck over

    I have a question, on my Tacoma 4 runners and camry I've never had corrosion on the battery terminals, I worked at AutoZone and have seen what corrosion looks like in brand new cars (2017) what specifically causes it?

    Working a non deep cycle battery as if it was one creates a lot of hydrogen gas, that's the most common, sometimes the terminals aren't sealed well around the plastic case and the gasses end up there as well. Some of it is just metal reactions between lead and hydrogen

    It's not always "corrosion" sometimes it's actually phosphate buildup

    The corrosion/rust in the battery area of cars that run off cheap batteries is enough for me to put AGMs in everything.

    Passenger fender apron I cut off my flatbed was mint besides the fact it was shoved in and twisted. Driver fender apron battery support is rusted through and the whole front of the apron has surface rust.

    dont waste your money. for 9005 do the 9011 bulb mod. trim a tab and enjoy double brightness plug in bulbs with longer life.

    for 9006 the bulb is 9012

    Thanks for the tip. The 470 DRL uses a 1003 Bulb. Only one headlight bulb is listed.

    i've got the 9012 low beams and 9011 high beams in the corolla... by far the brightest headlights ive ever had in a car. they even top the rental corolla i had with with fancy OEM LED "im blinding everyone im facing" lights
