Sorry to hear that, I know the feeling...we kept getting hospital bills from my daughter's birth months after it was over and insurance had supposedly taken care of it. That stuff is such a headache

 

Same. Took about 9 months for everything to come through after my Dad passed away. Then they overcharged us, then refunded us with one of those stupid prepaid visas - made out to my Dad. We made a bunch of phone calls and they finally relented and just sent a check. Pretty sure that was intentional on their part. Ugh. Especially shitty for people who are grieving.

 

Yeah I hate insurance companies with a passion, my dad has worked in insurance in the corporate setting his entire career and says the same thing lol. They are supposedly 'there for you' but when that time comes they do everything in their power to pay out as little as possible. We were told numerous times that a certain percentage of her delivery would be covered and in the end we were lucky to get half that "because such and such fine print blah blah". And they still haven't sent us every check they said they were going to.

 

Wow it still has the Pitot tube on the fuselage. Usually tells you what your air speed is, wonder if it still works.
