I'd do a 1UZ, nice aluminum engine with great swap support and you aren't tethered to an automatic like some kind of poor person.

Interesting. Its only ~10 hp/tq and 0.1 liter more than my vq40. Do they respond well to upgrades?

I will look into this. I know someone makes an adapter plate for my w59 to mate to the uz engines. I wonder if someone makes a wiring kit so Similar to ORS for 3.0 to 3.4 swaps

Haha I totally didn't think about that with them not having doors on his truck, you're right. That's probably why he stayed so far back when we were on that really dusty road back to highway 313 or whatever it was

I'm happy my truck stayed in one piece especially considering a couple of the things Sean talked us into doing on Fins n Things lol. Vibrations in my truck around 60mph were pretty bad on the way home but my carrier bearing is on its death bed, gonna do that sometime this week or next.

Crazy how grippy the rock surface is out there in Moab, wasn't expecting that at all. You able to send me the video you took of that last ledge I did where I smashed my bumper?

I know you said the video sucked but I still want to see it lol. Hoping someone got some photos of me there at least

It's .5 bigger haha, and it's a good aluminum V8. Has some amazing throttle response due to the 90mm throttle body and amazing intake runner design. Only reason power is kinda low is what it was put in, luxury car engine in the US, they can be tuned and boosted very easily. Solid support

Oooh. They have 4.1 and 4.5 versions. I knew my math wasn't that broken.

Sweet. Seems like they build a solid drivetrain (ignore the CVT's). Be a fun project for sure.

The VH45DE is a nice mindfuck for people too, because it is a normal longitudinal use engine for RWD setups, but it looks like it's transverse cause of how the intake is designed to fit the dual runner setup.

Huh. That makes my head hurt imagining how that is all connected together.

Went and played around at a local spot with a buddy who just put some 35s on his Chevy, was a fun time. I forgot to take a picture but I stuffed the 33s entirely on the rear fender, like perfect stance slammed look haha The Chevy frame is flimsy, it flexed so much his door and bed were way outta whack and the door even smacked the fender opening

My phone will randomly construct panoramas out of my photos without me telling it to, I don't know why and usually delete them...but this one came out cool @Kwikvette

You'd think a 3/4 ton would be stiffer than that, surprised to see so much flex on an empty truck.

The entire frame is C channel, not a boxed section to be found

I’m serious. Without the proper fuel mods, tune, etc. you won’t feel it at all (on auto) Perhaps @Speedytech7 can elaborate more but it’s doing worse for my engine than good.

@0xDEADBEEF I didn't post this one previously, but look at the bed to cab relationship...

Thats just so you can wash the salt out and get away with a less flexible suspension

    Everything but the driveshaft. B03A - 410

Justin doing burnouts in his 94 model..I think we are running the same tuned ECU. It has a Z32 5-speed transmission

I had a lot of fun with a VH45 a little over 10 years ago.
